Every Sunday at the Allstate Arena, the parking lot is taken over by vendors and bargain hunters. A lot of them. In fact, you can find antique and collectible items from 700 vendors each week from 6 a.m.-3 p.m., and join 12,000 customers in searching for unique, offbeat items.
Wolff’s Flea Markets is a long-standing Rosemont tradition, run by the Wolff family as a family-friendly shopping destination. Here, you can find art, books, new merchandise, garage sale items, kitchen items, crafts, records, appliances, sporting goods, sundries, jewelry, accessories, tools, electronics, and much more. Everything from food and origami to performances from talented musicians and artists takes place here. Food trucks return this year as well.
Coming here is an experience unto itself, but it’s also a great place to find gifts – Mother’s Day gifts, Father’s Day gifts, birthday presents for that person who has everything. You never know what you’re going to find, so it’s worth coming all the time – that is, if you enjoy seeking hidden treasures. You will find thousands of items weekly at Wolff’s Flea Markets.
Wolff’s actually features two locations – it opens in Palatine Saturdays and Sundays year round, from 8 a.m.-4 p.m., and entrance costs $1 for adults. At Rosemont, admission is $2 for adults, and hours are 6 a.m.-3 p.m. For additional information, visit the website at www.wolffs.com. You can also follow the company on Facebook.
