One of the exciting attractions legonexoat LEGOLAND Discovery Center Chicago, located in Schaumburg, is the 4-D theater, a place where families can experience 3-D movies complete with wind, water, and other effects. This summer, LEGO fans have a new reason to visit, as the NEXO KNIGHTS are now on LEGOLAND’s silver screen in an engaging story about good, evil, and heroism.
This new, 12-minute film, called “LEGO NEXO NIGHTS: The Book of Creativity,” is designed to showcase the world of the LEGO NEXO KNIGHTS, set in a futuristic yet medieval land called Knighton. There, five brave young knights led by Clay Moorington battle evil Jestro, the living Book of Monsters, and their Lava Monster creations. They must team up with a digital wizard, Merlok 2.0, to stop the enemy from getting his hands on the dangerous and magical Book of Creativity. The movie is appropriate for children ages 7 and up, and requires the use of 3-D glasses provided at the door.
NEXO KNIGHTS is a LEGO theme that’s designed to be interactive – watching the TV series, playing with the LEGO sets, and going online can yield 170 interactive shields that get scanned into an app called Merlok 2.0 to upgrade player’s powers and help the knights fight the monsters. For more information on this theme and the playsets available now in stores, www.lego.com.
