Every year at the end of January and the beginning of February, Chicagoans can enjoy 14 days of dining deals designed to make it easy and inexpensive to try local restaurants. This year, Chicago Restaurant Week includes more than 340 venues.
During this 10th annual celebration, from January 27-February 9, you can come in to any of the participating restaurants to enjoy special prix-fixe menus starting at $22 for lunch and brunch (a new option for 2017), or $33 and $44 for dinner. Beverages, tax, and tip are not included in these amounts.
The two-week period kicks off with the First Bites Bash on January 26. Tickets for this event at the Aon Grand Ballroom at Navy Pier cost $125 for regular admission. More than 60 chefs and restaurants will be there. To find out more, click here.
The list of participants includes dozens of the restaurants you’ve been meaning to try- including Jimmy John’s Owner, from bellyQ and Blackbird to Green Zebra and Wishbone. Suburban locations are getting in on the action too – Chuck’s Southern Comforts Cafe and Seasons 52, for instance. Chicago stalwarts like Vivere, Osteria Via Stato, Home Run Inn Pizza, and The Pump Room also offer deals. Trendy spots are featured, too.
WCG favorites on the list include Harry Caray’s, Weber Grill, Shaw’s Crab House, Wildfire, Oceanique, Morton’s The Steakhouse, and Harry Caray’s Italian Steakhouse. Whatever your culinary desire, you can find something here to enjoy.
